Born and raised in North Carolina, I know the value of hard work. I’ve earned two awards from the North Carolina Student Media Association: 2nd place for Best Two-Page Spread and 2nd place for Creative Storytelling. My photography has been featured in five gallery shows, including The Mixed Kid Experience and my protest photography series.

In college, my passions for journalism and graphic design grew as I joined ECU’s Student Media, Pirate Media 1, starting as a photographer and quickly advancing through roles such as Graphic Designer, Production Manager, Creative Director, and Social Media Manager.

I was with Pirate Media 1 for 3 years and then got an internship as a Multimedia Reporter Intern at the Washington Daily News. There, I learned to write in AP and professional ways to strengthen my portfolio and capture an audience's attention.

Today, I continue to hone my skills through freelance photography and design, always exploring new tools, platforms, and creative possibilities. Feel free to look around my website and reach out.
